Quiver - Quiver (1971)

The debut album from this English band.

I know next to nothing about them besides of they releasing two albums as Quiver and five or so albums as The Sutherland Brothers & Quiver. I got the two Quiver albums.

Quiver was a trio on this album. The lineup was guitars, bass, drums and vocals.

This version of Quiver should not be confused with a jazz band with the same name. The Quiver reviewed here is a folk rock band.

That means folk rock with a lot of country'n'western and psychedelic rock. Add a lot of racy, hard rock too and you get this album.

This album is forty-three minutes long and it has some decent songs. Some of them are five minutes plus and showcases a rather good band.

Nevertheless, this is a decent album from a band who does not deserve to be forgotten. Their two albums is well worth checking out on Youtube.
