The first of perhaps many more albums from the Norwegian composer and musician Trygve Nakland. I don't know much about him and Normanna.
He has called his album for world music. He did not mean Norwegian folk music with that statement. He meant a mishmash of various genres put out as one album. That is mostly variations over the songs based music. Here, we find AOR, Police like reggae, country'n'western and commercial pop-rock.
The music is fine, but also very dull if you want more of a challenge. This one hour long album does not offer up any technical finesses or any really good songs. To put it short; this album is not for me. Hence my verdict.
