The sixteenth album from this Canadian band.
Saga have their very own sound. A sound that combines the new romantics synth bands like Human League and pomp prog. Add Rush to the mix too and you get their sound. A sound they have been more or less true to since they started. The quality of their albums has been a lot up and down, though.
Network showcases Saga on a more upwards direction. A mix of pompous hard rock and ballads. The vocals is great and we get the usual Saga keyboards and guitars sound. An unmistakable sound. The songs are good to very good. This is an album that pleases old Saga fans like myself. Hence my verdict.
