The debut album from this Swedish power trio.
Rush is the most famous and successful power trio in today's scene. Three Seasons is more funky, more post millenium than Rush though. More rhythm and blues orientated too. The music here somewhat reminds me about a very popular Swedish band back in the 1990's; Blue Tomato. There was a funk rock scene back in Sweden back in those days. Three Seasons plays a bit more rock than the bands in that scene. Besides of that; they would fit in nicely.
In any case; we are talking retro music and retro back to the early 1970s. Whitesnake and Grand Funk Railroad springs to mind. The music is very good throughout and this power trio is most definate onto something here. Their Hammond organ is great and so is the funky guitars. The bass, vocals and drums too is very good. The best song is the opener Too Many Choices which is a great, infectious song. The album tails off a bit though. But it is still a very good album which I would recommend. I cannot wait until I sink my teeth into the follow up album.
