The first of two albums from this German band.
The band logo and album cover is a bit misleading. No, this is not a German thrash/speed/power metal band. This is a band whose music is somewhere between German power metal and neo-prog. There is a lot of metal structures on this album. There is also a lot of neo-prog structures here.
The vocals are faultless English. It is still obvious that the vocalist is from Germany. The phrasing and the way Martin Garden sings is typical German power metal vocals. Some of the guitars are also in that vein.
Most of the melodies here are pretty soft and neo-prog like. They are neo-prog. I have to admit this comes across as bit original to me. Not particular great or even good, but still original.
The end result is an hour long album with decent to good songs. The melodies and details here feels a bit formula driven and well known from countless other bands. It is just the style this has been delivered in which is original. It is still a decent to good album which you may want to check out.
