The fourth or so studio album from this French garage krautrock band.
I have reviewed the other albums from this French outfit. Their albums is a bit of a hit and miss. I prefer their more long journeys into outer space. Those are great.
Spiritus Mundi sees the band taking a more short songs route. A more punk'ish route. Punk has always been a big part of their sound. There are still enough space and krautrock to make this album interesting though. An album both released as an LP and as a Bandcamp album, btw. There are some very good krautrock trips here. The sound is as dirty and muddy as always. The inclusion of a Hammond organ on this album is a bit odd. But it also adds a great deal of value and quality to this album too.
Spiritus Mundi is a good album from this French band. One of the better new bands in the krautrock scene and one who I urge you to check out. Link below.
